Streamer

Mira Streamer is the software, part TVIP Mira.

Purpose

Mira Streamer is software for broadcasting streams from Mira Storage.

Installation

For installation, please contact manager for advice.

Connecting to Channel Manager

To add a streamer to the web interface, go to the Mira Streamers tab on the left menu and click Add Mira Streamer:

Enter name, Server URL to connect to Mira Storage, Public address to connect to Nginx, user name and password. In the Segment cache size field, specify the number of segments stored in the cache.

DRM

Set DRM server for this streamer.

Attributes

Server Name:

The name of the new streamer.

Server URL:

Storage management URL, default port 7777.

Public address:

URL for connecting Nginx to Streamer, iff not specified, Management URL will be used.

Storage username:

The user name for connecting Channel Manager to Streamer.

Storage password:

User password for connecting Channel Manager to Streamer.

Segment cache size:

The number of segments (HLS/DASH) stored in the cache. The default value is 1000.

Bandwidth Policy:

The bitrate value at which playback starts. The default setting is low.
